The PlayStation 5 is receiving a striking new look inspired by Marvel’s Wolverine, as Sony and Marvel renew their partnership to promote the upcoming PS5-exclusive superhero game. The collaboration mirrors the earlier tie-in released alongside Spider-Man 2, though the latest items carry higher prices than the equivalent products from three years ago.
The Limited Edition Marvel’s Wolverine bundle and accessories will go on sale on 15 September 2026, the same day the Wolverine game launches. The console, controller and covers all cost more than the current elevated pricing for PlayStation 5 hardware and accessories, yet are expected to sell out quickly.
The PS5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle arrives in a distinctive Wolverine yellow finish. The console features the face of the comic book hero along with his signature claw marks, while the DualSense controller shares the same colour scheme and slashes in an inverted arrangement.
Controllers and Console Covers
Buyers seeking only a limited-edition DualSense controller can choose between the battle yellow design and an adamantium colour, which resembles silver. Owners who would rather not spend on a full console can instead purchase the limited-edition console covers, which snap on and off the system. PS5 Slim owners are limited to the battle yellow option, while PS5 Pro owners may select either battle yellow or adamantium.
The prices for the console and accessories are as follows:
PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle: around £510
DualSense Wireless Controller – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition: around £67
DualSense Wireless Controller – Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition: around £67
PlayStation 5 Console Covers – Battle Yellow Limited Edition: around £59
PlayStation 5 Pro Console Covers – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition: around £59
PlayStation 5 Pro Console Covers – Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition: around £59
Pre-orders and Availability
Pre-orders for the limited-edition PS5, controllers and console covers begin on 19 August at 10am local time. Marvel’s Wolverine, developed by Insomniac Games, is a PS5 exclusive arriving on 15 September for around £55.
