The Poco F9 series has been confirmed for a global launch, with the company revealing both the design and colour options for the two new handsets. The line-up will comprise the Poco F9 Pro and the Poco F9 Ultra, confirming earlier reports that the devices are rebranded versions of the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max.
Both models will be unveiled during an online event on 1 September, marking the arrival of the F9 range across international markets.
Design and colour options
Alongside the launch date, Poco has showcased the F9 Ultra in a Dark Cherry finish, while the F9 Pro has been presented in an Aurora Green shade. The reveal offers a first official look at the styling of both handsets ahead of their formal debut.
The confirmation that the two phones are rebadged Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max models means buyers can expect much of the hardware to carry over from those devices, though the Poco versions are said to differ in one notable area.
Expected specifications and pricing
Poco has yet to disclose the full technical details of the F9 Pro and F9 Ultra, but reports point to slightly smaller batteries than their Redmi counterparts. The Poco F9 Pro is expected to feature a 6,330mAh cell, while the Poco F9 Ultra is tipped to carry an 8,050mAh unit. The remaining specifications are believed to mirror those of the Redmi models.
On pricing, the F9 Pro is anticipated to cost around £690, while the F9 Ultra could arrive at approximately £860. Official figures will be confirmed when the phones are revealed at the online event on 1 September.
