The Google Pixel 11 series has been unveiled, arriving alongside the Pixel Watch 5. The line-up comprises the Pixel 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro XL, and 11 Pro Fold, all built around the new Tensor G6 chipset, which uses a 3nm process rather than the widely rumoured 2nm.
Specifications remain largely consistent with the previous generation. The Pixel 11 Pro features a 6.3-inch display, while the Pro XL offers a 6.8-inch panel with improved brightness. Both the 11 Pro and 11 Pro XL share the same camera system: a 50MP 1/1.3-inch wide-angle sensor, a 48MP ultrawide, a 48MP 5x zoom, and a 42MP selfie camera. The standard Pixel 11 gains a larger 1/1.56-inch main sensor, up from 1/2.0-inch. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold also receives a larger main sensor, though its battery is slightly smaller at 4,806mAh compared with 5,015mAh.
The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL start at around £1,040 and £1,215 respectively in Europe, both with 256GB of storage as standard. Pre-orders are open, with general sales beginning on 20 August. The Pixel 11 goes on sale the same day, priced at roughly £710. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold arrives on 20 August as well, starting at approximately £1,500, with more limited European availability. All new models feature the HiLight notification LED. Pricing is higher than the 2025 models, and the Pixel Watch 5 also carries an increased price.
Honor Robot Phone Brings a Motorised Gimbal
Honor has officially launched its Robot Phone in China. Its headline feature is a motorised 4-DoF titanium gimbal that deploys from the rear and carries a 200MP 1/1.28-inch f/1.6 main camera. The gimbal automatically pans and tilts for stabilisation and AI subject tracking. The remaining cameras include a 200MP 2.7x periscope telephoto and a 50MP ultrawide. Honor has partnered with ARRI to bring 10-bit ARRI LogC3 recording, ARRI Wide Gamut 3, and ARRI Looks.
Elsewhere, the handset packs a 6.31-inch 1-120Hz LTPO OLED display, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and a 7,060mAh battery. The Honor Robot Phone starts at CNY 9,999 for the 12GB/512GB version, rising to CNY 12,999 for the 16GB/1TB model. Sales in China begin on 18 August, with no international availability announced.
