The vivo X Fold6 is edging closer to its international release, with a fresh leak pointing to launch dates for both global and Indian markets. The foldable made its initial debut in China in June, and while vivo has yet to confirm an official rollout timeline, newly surfaced details suggest the wait is nearly over.
According to the leaked information, the vivo X Fold6 will arrive globally on 1 October, four months after its Chinese introduction. India, meanwhile, is set to receive the device shortly afterwards on 6 October.
Indian configurations and colours
For the Indian market, the vivo X Fold6 is tipped to be offered in two memory configurations: 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB. Buyers will reportedly have a choice of two finishes, Nebula Teal and Prism Black.
Specifications and hardware
Based on its Chinese launch, the vivo X Fold6 features an 8.02 inch folding AMOLED display paired with a 6.51 inch AMOLED cover screen. Photography is handled by a triple rear camera arrangement led by a 200MP primary sensor.
Powering the foldable is a substantial 7,000mAh battery, supported by 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. These specifications position the device among the more capable large-screen foldables released in the current cycle.
With the global debut expected on 1 October and the Indian launch following on 6 October, the vivo X Fold6 is on track to expand beyond its home market within days of the anticipated announcements.
