Motorola Razr 2026 with Swarovski Crystals Undercuts Z Flip 8

Motorola Razr 2026 with Swarovski Crystals Undercuts Z Flip 8 - Razr 2026 Swarovski
The Motorola Razr 2026 with Swarovski Crystals launches on 10 September at around £710, undercutting the Galaxy Z Flip 8 by roughly £235.

The Motorola Razr 2026 is receiving a fresh jewellery-inspired makeover with the launch of the Razr 2026 with Crystals by Swarovski, a new addition to the company’s Brilliant Collection. Priced at roughly £710, the handset arrives on 10 September and sits around £235 beneath a standard Galaxy Z Flip 8. None of the internal hardware has been altered, making this a purely design-led release at a time when styled flip phones have become increasingly uncommon.

Every modification sits on the exterior. The rear panel features a PANTONE Meteorite finish with a quilted, leather-inspired texture, dotted with 35 hand-positioned Swarovski Silver Night crystals that catch the light each time the device is opened. The hinge carries its own signature crystal cut with 32 facets, an increase from the 26-facet stone used on last year’s model. A clear case is supplied in the box, allowing owners to protect the rear without concealing the design.

The finished product closely matches leaked images that surfaced last month. Beneath the decorative panel, the specifications remain those of the standard Razr 2026, including a 6.9-inch main display, Dimensity 7450X chipset, 8GB of RAM and a 4,800mAh battery.

Motorola’s Foldable Market Position

The crystal edition is underpinned by a genuine commercial standing. One report placed Motorola at roughly 50% of the US foldable market earlier this year, driven almost entirely by the Razr, against about 14% globally after climbing from around 6%. Counterpoint Research’s 2026 foldable forecast puts Motorola at 8% worldwide, behind Samsung at 32%, Apple at 25% and Huawei at 24%.

The United States is where the Razr performs most strongly, which explains why the crystal edition receives a Verizon date rather than a global rollout. Samsung has pursued similar fashion-led releases for years, including Thom Browne editions of the original Galaxy Z Flip and several Folds, plus Maison Margiela versions of the Flip 4 and Flip 5, though the last two Flip generations went without one. A separate report indicates another luxury collaboration is planned for later this year, pointing at the Galaxy Z Fold 8 rather than the Flip.

Samsung’s fashion editions have tended to be application-only in a handful of markets at a steep premium, whereas this Razr goes on sale through Amazon and Verizon like any other handset. For those already holding a Galaxy Z Flip 8, nothing here surpasses that phone on specifications, but buyers who chose a clamshell for its appearance can now acquire the styled alternative for less.

Price, Release Date and Launch Bundle

The Razr 2026 Swarovski edition launches on 10 September via Motorola.com and Amazon at a recommended price of around £710, with pricing varying by channel. Verizon availability follows on 24 September. For a limited time, buyers via Motorola.com receive the new moto buds 2 plus Swarovski Edition and a moto watch bundled at launch. Last year’s Brilliant Collection was priced at approximately £790 for the phone plus a set
