Prime Video has entered the megabundle arena. Amazon’s streaming service announced that a new package featuring Starz, AMC Plus, BritBox, MGM Plus and PBS Masterpiece is now available to subscribers directly on its platform. The bundle costs roughly £23 per month.
While that figure may feel steep once added to other subscriptions, Prime Video notes that grouping the five services together saves subscribers around £15 per month, nearly 39%, compared with paying for each streamer individually. This marks the first time these five specific streamers have combined to offer a single package to customers.
What the Bundle Includes
The super bundle is separate from a standard Prime Video subscription and is available as an add-on within the platform’s subscription section. AMC Plus and Starz are among the most notable inclusions. AMC Plus carries The Walking Dead universe and Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire series, while Starz offers P-Valley alongside franchises such as Power and Outlander.
MGM Plus features original programming including the genre hit From and the drama American Hostage, plus films drawn from the MGM library. British programming and documentaries are covered by BritBox and PBS Masterpiece, rounding out the offering with a broad mix of scripted series and factual content.
Prime Video’s Growing Bundle Strategy
The launch represents the latest step by Prime Video to package programming for subscribers. Ryan Pirozzi, head of Prime Video Channels in the US, described the launch as a milestone for customers and the first-ever five-service streaming bundle on the platform, noting that subscribers gain premium entertainment in a single place.
Prime Video already offers other combinations, including a Hallmark Plus and Starz bundle available for around £11 following a seven-day trial. A Crunchyroll and Fox One bundle launched recently and is available through the platform for a limited time. Customers interested in the new five-service package can subscribe directly through Prime Video.
