The HMD 102 4G Pro has surfaced in a fresh specifications leak, pointing to an upgraded take on the 102 4G that arrived in September of last year. The new feature phone is expected to build on its predecessor with a handful of meaningful improvements.
According to the leaked details, the device will feature a 2-inch QQVGA LCD screen paired with a 0.3MP camera. Powering the handset is the Unisoc 8910FF-S chipset, backed by 24MB of RAM and 48MB of internal storage. Users will also be able to expand capacity via microSD cards up to 32GB.
Connectivity and Durability
The HMD 102 4G Pro is tipped to arrive with IP52 certification, offering resistance against dust and light rain. On the connectivity front, the phone is set to include Bluetooth 4.2, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual-SIM LTE support, broadening its appeal for those who rely on more than one network.
The handset is expected to run S30+, complete with the classic Snake game and a built-in media player. This keeps the software experience lightweight and focused, in line with HMD’s approach to entry-level feature phones.
Battery and Charging
Keeping the device running is a 1,200 mAh battery, which represents a 20% increase over the original 102 4G. Charging is handled through a USB-C port, a modern touch for a device in this category.
In terms of design, the Pro model appears to closely mirror the original 102 4G. However, the upgrades set it apart, with the Pro variant bringing a slightly higher-resolution camera, more RAM and storage, dual-SIM support, and the larger battery.
An official release date for the HMD 102 4G Pro has not yet been confirmed, and pricing details remain unknown at this stage.
