The Galaxy S26 Ultra has joined Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed store, alongside the Galaxy S26+ and the standard Galaxy S26. A like-new Ultra now costs around £815, roughly £75 less than a new iPhone 17 Pro Max, with the S26+ priced at about £690 and the S26 at approximately £565. Each handset is rebuilt with a fresh battery and carries the same one-year warranty offered on new Samsung phones.
What Samsung includes in the refurbished Galaxy S26 box
Certified Re-Newed phones are used units that Samsung’s own engineers dismantle, clean, and rebuild using only genuine Samsung parts. Every device receives a brand-new battery before it is returned to the box.
All three models are available in the same six colours as the new phones, and the software side remains unchanged. Buyers still receive the seven promised OS upgrades and the full Galaxy AI suite. The refurbished pricing breaks down as follows: the Galaxy S26 starts at around £565, the Galaxy S26+ at about £690, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra at roughly £815.
The phones are exclusive to Samsung.com. Customers can trade in an old device for up to approximately £535 in credit, and Samsung Care+ with Theft and Loss can be added for £0 screen and back glass repairs and unlimited battery replacements.
How the refurbished Galaxy S26 Ultra price compares to buying new
The savings work out to about £105 on the S26, £127 on the S26+, and £149 on the Ultra when set against the launch prices of roughly £670, £815, and £965 respectively. That equates to around 15 to 16 percent across the range. The reductions carry a little more weight this year, because the S26 and S26+ both launched around £75 higher than their predecessors in February.
The timing is also notable. Samsung’s own offers page showed a straight discount of about £149 on a new S26 Ultra that ran through 13 September, which brought a brand-new Ultra down to roughly £815, essentially the same price Samsung now asks for the refurbished model. The Certified Re-Newed store opened for the S26 the day after that promotion ended.
Trade-in credit is another factor to watch. Samsung is quoting up to around £535 on both the Re-Newed phones and the new ones, so a maximum trade-in applies the same reduction to either option. The refurbished Galaxy S26 Ultra is available now exclusively through Samsung.com.
