Rokid AIUI Studio is a browser-based platform that allows anyone to build spatial AI applications for Rokid Glasses, with no coding experience or developer kit required. The company launched the tool globally at IFA Berlin 2026, opening up app creation for its smart glasses to a far wider audience.
Much of the development process takes place through an AI-native workflow. Developers can describe an idea in plain language, and the platform turns that concept into a working app without traditional coding skills. The approach is designed to lower the barrier to entry for those keen to create for the hardware.
Build and test without hardware
AIUI Studio includes a built-in smart glasses simulator, letting developers create and test projects before physical hardware is involved. This means creators can work on their projects without having to purchase a pair of the glasses first.
There is still a reason to bring the real hardware in eventually. Rokid’s developer documentation advises testing agents in its Interactive Inview simulator before carrying out a final check on the actual glasses.
More control for advanced developers
For developers who want greater control, Rokid pairs its AIUI Skills Library framework with AIUI Code assistance. The company says this helps creators make better use of the glasses’ hardware while optimising apps for reduced latency, lower memory use, and less power consumption.
The launch is the latest step as Rokid’s developer ecosystem expands. The company says it now has around 35,000 registered developers and more than 500 agents available through its Agent Store. AIUI Studio is available worldwide.
