The iQOO Z11xa has been quietly unveiled in India, arriving several months after the Z11x reached the same market. The new handset now appears on iQOO’s Indian website, yet anyone comparing the two models closely will struggle to spot a meaningful difference between them.
In practical terms, the specifications are identical, right down to the colour variants. The one distinction lies in the configuration options. While the Z11x is offered with both 6GB and 8GB of RAM alongside 128GB and 256GB of storage, the iQOO Z11xa is sold exclusively in a single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage combination.
Pricing raises questions
The pricing situation adds a further layer of confusion. In the same 8/128GB configuration, the Z11xa carries a price of INR 28,999, or roughly £240. The Z11x, which is effectively the same phone, is listed at INR 30,999, equating to approximately £256. The newer model therefore undercuts its near-identical sibling despite sharing every core component.
Why iQOO chose to introduce what looks like an entirely separate product, only to offer it in a configuration already covered by the existing Z11x, remains unclear. The move results in two devices with matching hardware sitting side by side in the company’s Indian catalogue at slightly different prices.
Shared specifications
Both the Z11x and the Z11xa feature a 6.76-inch LCD display with a 1080×2344 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200-nit peak brightness. Imaging duties are handled by a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the rear, with a 32MP front camera for selfies.
Power comes from the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo chipset, paired with a substantial 7,200 mAh battery. The battery supports 44W fast wired charging as well as 7.5W reverse wired charging, allowing the phone to top up other devices.
On the software side, both handsets run OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16. With the hardware, cameras, display and software all matching, the storage configuration and the price remain the only points that separate the two models across iQOO’s India line-up.
