Crock-Pot has partnered with paint brand Valspar to release six new slow cooker colours, each paired with coordinating paint swatches. The collaboration allows home cooks to match their kitchen decor to their appliance, arriving just ahead of autumn, widely regarded as peak slow cooker season.
The launch reflects two ongoing interior design trends: colour-drenching, where a single hue is applied throughout a space, and the use of stylish appliances as a countertop focal point. Each Crock-Pot shade is offered alongside a matching Valspar paint colour and a selection of complementary tones.
The six new Crock-Pot colours
The new colour pairings combine each slow cooker finish with a matching Valspar paint. Morning Haze is paired with Cottage Door, with complementary shades Silver Dusk, Blue Kiss and Magnet Dapple. Light Stone is paired with Voyage, complemented by Blue Skylights, Snowed In and Dream Weaver.
Ocean Fog is paired with Renew Blue, alongside Secluded Garden, Du Jour and Green Trellis. Desert Sage is paired with Seaside Fog, with Low Tide, Lemon Edge and Homey Cream as complementary tones. Chai Cream is paired with Stone Manor, complemented by Sunswept Sand, Bistro White and Groundbreaking. Purple Potato is paired with Purple Fury, alongside White Wool, Titanium Man and Tomcat.
A wider move towards blue in the kitchen
According to a statement from Mallory Fuller-Guzman, a senior manager at Newell Brands, the aim was to reimagine what a slow cooker can look like in the modern kitchen, presenting it not only as a hardworking appliance but as a well-designed piece that suits the countertop. The range is also intended to encourage people to create spaces that feel personal and reflective of how they live.
This summer, Valspar named Cottage Door its 2027 Colour of the Year, a signal that blue may emerge as a leading home trend. The direction is echoed elsewhere in the sector: KitchenAid recently unveiled its latest stand mixer, The Luminaire, in a shade called Peppercorn Blue. The six new Crock-Pot colours and their matching Valspar paint swatches are now available.
