What the leaked identifier reveals
In June 2026, code within tvOS 27 indicated that the Apple TV 4K was on track to receive Siri AI support. More recent findings from Apple’s own code have expanded on the hardware expected to enable this change.
The model identifier of the upcoming Apple TV 4K suggests the device will feature either the A19 or the A19 Pro system-on-chip. This represents a substantial step up from the A15 Bionic chip found in the 2022 model.
More power and memory
Beyond raw processing gains, the new chip is expected to increase the available memory considerably. The upcoming Apple TV 4K is anticipated to include either 8GB or 12GB of RAM, up from the 6GB found in the 2022 variant.
This additional memory, combined with the newer silicon, would provide the resources required to run Apple Intelligence on the device.
