Crunchyroll has launched a new bundle with Fox One for customers in the United States, pairing anime and live sport in a single subscription. Known as the Crunchyroll Fan Tier x Fox One bundle, the package is priced at roughly £18 per month and is now available through Prime Video for a limited time.
The combined offer represents a 23% saving compared with subscribing to each service individually. On its own, Crunchyroll’s ad-free plan costs around £8, while Fox One is priced at approximately £16 per month. Bringing the two together gives subscribers access to a broad mix of entertainment under one billing arrangement.
Why anime and sport share an audience
Combining sports and anime fandoms may appear unusual, but research commissioned by Crunchyroll from the National Research Group points to the genre’s growing cultural reach. According to the findings, 54% of Gen Z globally declare their love for anime, placing it just behind LeBron James at 59%, ahead of Serena Williams at 47% and Shohei Ohtani at 25%.
Fox One carries a full slate of Fox’s entertainment brands, including Fox News, Fox Sports, the Fox Network, Fox Business, Fox Weather, FS1, FS2, Fox Deportes, the Big Ten Network and local Fox stations.
Crunchyroll’s expanding catalogue
Crunchyroll is the largest anime streaming platform in the world, with more than 21 million subscribers. Its library features long-running favourites such as Dragon Ball, Naruto and My Hero Academia, alongside current titles including Black Torch, Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia, Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You and One Piece Heroines.
This marks the second bundle Crunchyroll has introduced this year, following an earlier tie-up with Starz. The service is also set to become available on the entertainment systems of select vehicles, extending where subscribers can watch their favourite anime titles.
The Crunchyroll Fan Tier x Fox One bundle is available now via Prime Video for a limited period.
