The Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition marks the latest special edition handset from Realme in collaboration with Warner Bros. Following a colour-changing Game of Thrones collectible, the company has turned its attention to the Wizarding World, pairing themed exterior styling with the standard model’s core hardware and bundling it with an array of extras aimed squarely at fans.
The device arrives in a chest-shaped box designed to resemble Harry’s Hogwarts trunk, complete with detailed engravings. The presentation leans heavily into the theme from the moment the box is opened, drawing the owner into the familiar setting of the films.
Unboxing the Harry Potter edition
On the left side of the trunk sits a brown box holding the phone case and a SIM-ejector tool, both carrying Harry Potter branding with the Hogwarts crest. The case is finished in a matching brown colour, continuing the cohesive styling throughout the package.
On the right side, a rectangular cardboard holder bears the Sorting Hat logo. Inside, buyers find a Hogwarts acceptance letter, a Platform Nine and Three-Quarters train ticket, bookmarks representing each house and four postcards featuring iconic imagery from the earlier films. The letter includes a wax-style stamp on the reverse, while the bookmarks come with a holder designed to display the emblem of a chosen house.
Realme has also colour-coded the charger and cable to match the theme, rather than leaving the accessories in plain white as many collaborations do. A wand is not included with the phone.
A customised design with hidden references
The phone itself carries gold accents across a dark brown design, with numerous hidden Harry Potter references woven into the finish. The camera module features two prominent camera rings with a small golden diamond positioned between them, and a closer look reveals additional themed detailing in their design.
The special edition retains the core hardware of the standard Realme 16 Pro 5G, applying the Wizarding World treatment to its exterior, software and accompanying collectibles. The result is a themed presentation that extends beyond the handset to the packaging and the bundled items, offering a consistent experience for those drawn to the franchise.
The Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition is positioned as a collector’s item as much as a daily smartphone, combining standard performance with a comprehensive set of themed extras including the acceptance letter, train ticket, bookmarks and postcards.
