MrBeast partners with Google on a multi-year deal featuring Gemini, Google Health and the Fitbit Air, starting with a wilderness survival video on 5

MrBeast is partnering with Google on a multi-year deal that will see Gemini, Google Health, and the Fitbit Air feature across a series of upcoming videos. The collaboration begins with a wilderness survival project in which Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson turns to Google’s AI assistant for guidance in some of the planet’s harshest environments.

The first video, scheduled for 5 September, follows Donaldson and his crew as they attempt to endure extreme and treacherous climates. Teams will race across three of the world’s most unforgiving landscapes, the jungle, the desert, and the Arctic, using Gemini to help them identify dangers, cope with brutal weather changes, and stay ahead of their rivals.

How Gemini and Fitbit Feature in the Partnership

Beyond the survival series, Google has confirmed that Donaldson will use a Fitbit Air during one of his upcoming challenges. He is also set to appear in a wider Gemini campaign produced by Google, extending the creator’s presence across the company’s health and AI products.

The arrangement links one of the world’s largest online audiences with Google’s growing suite of consumer AI tools. By placing Gemini at the centre of high-profile content, the company gains exposure to the vast viewership that Donaldson commands on YouTube.

Context Behind the Deal

The agreement arrives a couple of months after Donaldson’s YouTube channel became the first to reach 500 million subscribers, underlining his standing as the platform’s most-followed creator. It also lands amid reports that YouTube has been offering prominent creators deals designed to keep their content exclusive to the site, as more creators strike arrangements with rival platforms such as Netflix.

The multi-year structure of the partnership signals a sustained commitment from both sides, with further videos and campaign appearances expected to follow the initial survival series. The opening video is due to publish on 5 September.
