Apple TV subscribers now face higher costs after Apple confirmed a price rise for its streaming service, joining a wave of streaming increases this year. The company announced it is raising the price of Apple TV’s monthly and annual subscriptions, alongside the Apple One Individual plan.
The updated pricing takes effect immediately for both new and existing customers, though current subscribers will receive notification roughly one month before the new rate appears on their bill.
What the New Apple TV Prices Are
The monthly subscription increases by the equivalent of around £1.50 to roughly £11 per month, while the annual price rises by about £15 to approximately £88 per year. This marks the second increase for the service, which also raised its subscription price in August the previous year.
Apple TV is home to popular titles including Ted Lasso, Severance, Widow’s Bay and Dark Matter.
Apple One Individual Plan Also Affected
Subscribers on the Apple One Individual plan now pay around £16 a month, up from roughly £15. This plan bundles access to Apple TV, iCloud Plus, Apple Music and Apple Arcade. Pricing for the Family and Premier tiers remains unchanged for now.
Apple is not the only service to raise prices, with Netflix, Spotify, Peacock and Prime Video among the platforms that have implemented increases in 2026.
The announcement comes ahead of Apple’s iPhone event on 9 September, at which the company is rumoured to launch a foldable phone among its new lineup.
