Muse is coming to Meta smart glasses, with the company confirming it is “working on” bringing the agent to its wearable range, including the new glasses revealed at Meta Connect. The announcement arrives just a couple of weeks after Muse first launched, signalling a rapid expansion of the assistant across Meta’s hardware.
How Muse works on the glasses
Users will be able to activate Muse directly from their glasses simply by saying its name. Once summoned, the agent can handle a range of tasks, from guiding a workout and logging meals to helping wearers shop for products they are looking at. The hands-free approach positions Muse as a practical everyday tool built around the glasses’ camera and voice capabilities.
New accessibility features
Muse is only one of several major updates arriving on Meta’s glasses. The wearables are also gaining new accessibility features, including a Hearing Enhancement function that Meta describes as “FDA-cleared software for adults with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss.” The feature is set to become available at a later date.
Together, the additions broaden the appeal of Meta’s smart eyewear, combining an on-device AI agent with tools aimed at users who require hearing support. The Hearing Enhancement software’s regulatory clearance underlines Meta’s move towards features positioned for health-related use rather than purely consumer convenience.
